Wednesday, 29^th of October 2008,

Dear whoever is reading this,

Well, this is the first time I’ve ever written an online diary in my blog, I’m sure no one would want to read this (except for Miss Julie, my English teacher who is grading me). Let me introduce myself, I’m Meutia Gozali, a 7th grader in STB-ACS Jakarta. I have a little brother named Zaki, and thank God both of my parents are still here and not with Allah SWT. I’m in grade 7Y (yellow) not blue….

So, I woke up as usual at 6 o’clock in the morning, still feeling scared to go to school knowing how mad Pak Johan, my history teacher, and Miss Ez, my geography teacher, (notice that geog+hist=humanities) was on Monday. Grade seven is the loudest and (most teachers think) naughtiest class this year. You can’t blame us we are kids in puberty here…. Anyway I ate breakfast and there my brother was watching his favorite show: “Shaun the Sheep”, I couldn’t change the channel even if I wanted to because my brother would start crying again..

Then after breakfast, I took a shower, put on my uniform and slipped into my black leather school shoes. It took me an hour to get to school and since my driver slowed down this time, and not drive like an insane maniac like he usually does, we got to school just when the bell rang at 7.30 am. I quickly ran upstairs into my classroom, grade 7 Yellow, and opened my locker. I put my bag in and locked the locker again, I decided not to get my books for the first three periods because I would be late to go to the Daily Assembly in the Chapel. 

First period was LA or English, Miss Julie told us to open a new Unit in our Step Ahead textbook which is about diaries. Then she told us to go to the library to make the new website for our new blogs, but I didn’t finish at school so I decided to do it at home.. After snack was Chinese and MoA, Music or Art, my class got art for this quarter.. Our art teacher is Mr. Bhuvanesh, this is the first time we actually have a real art lesson because of all the holidays and the fact that it’s flu season, no I don’t mean hunting season I mean catching a serious illness..

It’s finally Math, the last subject of the day and the subject after lunch, I think that math is sow lately I guess it’s because I’m so smart, cieeeeee, hahaha, LOL… Me and Naura are always bored there, we were so bored that we started to so the other math exercises. Pak Lukman reminded us that there is another quiz tomorrow but I’m OK in fact I can’t wait for the quiz cause it sounds challenging. I went home with a heavy bag filed with homework.

Once I got home I took a bath, got to my lesson blablabla… and then I started to chat. My mom got home a bit later than usual, the next few words she said when she got home were music to my ears.. hahaha just kidding but it was great, ” Your going to go to take a picture for your passport tomorrow,” she said. Which means in my language, “Your skipping school tomorrow to take a picture.” I was happy and I told everyone but I was so excited that I forgot that it was on Thursday not Friday and on my mind I was saying your skipping school on Friday yay! Because Pak Johan said “If you guys don’t do a 2 pg summary of Government in Southeast Asia by Friday, you guys will have a lunch detention with me, even if it’s just one ONE of you ALL of you will get the detention…” When my mom reminded me it was on Thursday, I wasn’t that happy but then again I’d be skipping a math and geog test. “You guys are so smart aren’t you that you don’t listen to me anymore. I can just give you a test the next lesson and let you read from the textbook. You guys must be so smart that you should all pass from this test, you should get 60% at least, no more. If someone here does not pass, which means that your not that smart after all, then well.. You guys just have to bear with me,” Ms Ez said as she left the room on Monday. I slept late and happily, since I know I don’t have to wake up that early the next day…

 Thursday, 30^th of October 2008,

Dear any one who is reading this,

I feel great for waking up a bit later than usual… My brother was dressed, because he didn’t have to skip school too. And he was looking at me with an envy-looking smile, “Sis why aren’t you dressed up, how come you just woke up? Your not going to school are you? Cheater!!!!!” my brother said. Too bad for you, you naughty brother. My mom went to work and she told me that I would go with my dad to his office and “drop” him there and go to her office to pick her up then go to the immigration office for the picture once I’ve gone all dressed up. So I did what she said…

In the immigration office, the place was crowded nobody told me that I was going to extend my passport, oh well. I saw the cutest little boy he was just 4 years old and he has the perfect shoes to buy for my cousin for his next bday, Lightning Mac Queen from the film ‘Cars’ ’s shoes. I had a problem with the finger scanner machine because my fingers were too soft so it cannot read my fingerprints.

I planned to go finish that 2 paged history summary once I got home but I was so lazy that i just watched TV and chat with my uncle,  who was studying in America, and friends once they got home. I felt sorry for my friends in school, hahaha I could just go to school by lunch time and do my geography test…. Nah! How rare is it to kip school for something like this… But by only 10 pm did I finish my history homework and just in case I made copies of my summary and printed extra images if I had to redo cause I was scared that Pak Johan wouldn’t let me type my summary…. I just remembered it was halloween tomorrow there was going to be a movie friday tomorrow. But I can’t watch because my brother has to go to his lesson. 

I hope my friends remember to do the summary and that Pak Johan isn’t that mad on Friday. Tomorrow I might just say DTGIF, Don’t Thank God It’s Friday!!!!!T-T

Friday, 31^th of October,

Dear bloganizers,

I learned that word (bloganizer) from my friend and decided to use it… Happy halloween, everyone is talking about it. Friday didn’t turn out so bad. I went to the school shop to pay something that Pak Johan will remind me later on…. I went to the assembly as usual. After the assembly, Pak Johan (he is also 7B’s homeroom teacher) told all of the grade 7s to stay behind, i thought he was going to get mad at us but he just wanted to remind us of the camp fees. We (me and my classmates) are going to Malaysia for camp on December.

Since I didn’t come on Thursday I have a lot to catch up to… Yay, everyone did their history homework! But, we still got a lunch detention with Pak Johan because some people didn’t do their homework right and they are: Sammy, Ryan, Mikha, Gaby and Naila! Sammy did his homework but he did the wrong one, Ryan did his homework but it looked messed up and looks like he did it five minutes ago, plus Pak Johan was mad at him, Mikha did his homework but its only one page like Naila’s and Gaby’s. After the detention there was some time to do my math test that I missed the day before. I got the math test for 7 blue it was way way way way way easier than 7 yellow’s was. Hahahaha I’m glad I missed the Thursday’s one.

At english, Miss Julie was really late it was 1.05 and she was supposed to be in class by 12.30. We had FREE TIME whole period (35 minutes, there was supposed to be 2 periods). Free time was very “interesting” and funny because I just know that Jay, my Australian friend , likes MCR or My Chemical Romance, a very good band, and what’s funny is that Jordan does not know what MCR stands for hahaha, everyone knows that even I do and I don’t watch and listen to music much. Then around 4-5 people started to sing “The Black Parade”, Jay thinks it should be our school halloween theme.

PE stands for Physical Education, or sports. We are learning soccer. Next week Pak Dimas (my PE teacher) said we are going to have a fitness test which involes us running for A MILE which is 4 1/2 time the soccer field . But my friends thought it was on Friday so I had to look for most of them. The soccer there was 2 soccer fields one near the shelter and the therone near the tennis court. One my friends is really really scared of frogs for the whole PE lesson we were scaring her and making her screaam. It was so fun, I saw a frog on Monday and she freaked after looking at it… hahahahaha

There was supposed to be movie friday but not much people watched because he movie wasn’t scary and most were very busy. i watched 3 horror movies that night but I still managed to sleep peacefully.

Saturday, 1^st of November,

Dear bloganizers,

It is Saturday and I woke up so late that my breakfast was 11 am and my lunch was around 3 pm. I had a lesson at 4 pm in Menteng, Central Jakarta. I’m not going to write the name of the lesson cause I’m pretty shy about it. I went to PS (plaza senayan) after my lesson.

Then after dinner in Pizza Hut in Plaza Senayan, in I went to watch HSM 3 (High School Musical 3) with my family although I’ve watched it the week before. My brother forced me to watch it, and if I can skip my lesson then maybe I would have watched with my friends at 12 pm before lunch. But I still like watching it even if i watched it for the 3rd time but for the 5th time I would probably get bored. 

I got home by 10 pm I was tired but I still watched TV for a few minutes .I went to sleep early. Eventhough, I wanted to sleep late but it’s ok cause I’m tired.

 Sunday, 2^nd November

Dear anyone who is loyal enough to read the end of this diary (I hope it is),

I don’t know why but I woke up early today. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at home today, to finish all my homework. I went to the salon to get my hair cut and then I bought some food to eat at home for lunch.

After having a hair cut, I went to visit my 7 year old neighbour who was sick and just recovered. My brother played with him for more than an hour and i haven’t finished my homework talk about a I slept late for doing my hws… But i still chatted with my friends all the way. hahahaha

Can’t wait for what my friends say about my new hair at school on Monday!!! Too bad on Monday there will be a ONE MILE fitness test that we have at least once every semester, I’m going to make sure I have the stamina to do the test.
